Climbed Bierstadt yesterday to knock it out. I had heard it was super easy but wanted to see for myself. I had some chest congestion and had a hard time breathing to start until I worked it out. All in all, I think Bierstadt needs some respect. Continue reading

Belford and Oxford, September Climbing at its Finest 9-24-11
Dave and I were at it again on a gorgeous September day in the Sawatch range. Once again we were up on the highway around 4am heading towards Leadville, CO for another 14er tag team. This time the targets were Mt. Belford (14,197′) and Mt. Oxford (14,153′). Continue reading
