So I’ve been horribly remiss in blogging about my backcountry excursions.  On June 4^th Casey and I took a quick trip up to Mt. Evans to hit up the North Chutes.  I was amazed at the snowpack that remained his late in the season, although I guess I shouldn’t have been.  After driving up to the summit lakes parking lot it was a quick hour-long ascent to the top of the couloir.  From the couloir it was a quick scramble to the summit.
